Welcome to Project89

A maskil[b] of Ethan the Ezrahite.

I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever;
    with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known
    through all generations.
I will declare that your love stands firm forever,
    that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself.
You said, “I have made a covenant with my chosen one,
    I have sworn to David my servant,
‘I will establish your line forever
    and make your throne firm through all generations.’”

This website will be devoted to sharing my story of faith in Jesus Christ, and share what I learn through my devotionals.  I struggle with the constant battle of trying to deliver my story without portraying other belief systems in a negative light, though at times I find this to be a difficult task.  For example, if I say we are saved by believing Jesus died for our sins by dying on the cross and 3 days later was resurrected, I may be offensive to a belief system that states baptism is a requirement for salvation, which I do not believe.  (This actually is not a situation I have run into, but is merely an example that I find it near impossible to write about theistic matters without offending people).  I only hope you will ponder my words and bring it back to your time with God.  I am the first to let you know I am not God, I am not a pastor, I am not a Bible college student;  I simply believe God can use my words to help someone else, and hope that is true.

Visitor's notice

I highly encourage you to e-mail me with questions about faith, Jesus Christ, Christianity, or any other comments or questions you may have.  i cannot promise you an answer you may like but will simply try to be honest as best I can.  I will try to keep an update of one entry per week.
